SMART SELECTION METHOD
With the SMART SELECTION METHOD, hair follicles are usually extracted as single, double, triple or quart strands according to needs. In the SMART SELECTION METHOD, the aim is that single roots remain in the donor area and the area is homogeneously closed without any gaps. For the multiple roots that are separated, a much more intensive hair implantation with less trauma to the required areas is intended. In the SMART SELECTION METHOD, after hair is extracted, it is divided by staff into quarters, triples, doubles or single hair piles. The process takes a little longer than normal implantation.
The hair roots extracted by using the SMART SELECTION METHOD are wider than the root thickness of other techniques.
This point is important for the determination of the channel width and depth in the channel opening process prior to the implantation.
